With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene A. Newman of Bricelyn, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther H. Sheppard and Anna Sheppard (Groth); her siblings, Glen Sheppard, Harold Sheppard (Sylvia), Marilyn Sheppard and Roy; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Newman and Dale Swanson.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald D. Newman of Bricelyn; her children, Larry Newman of Bricelyn, MN, Rodney Newman (Verona) of Truman, MN, Debra Newman of Chandler, AZ and Sharon Newman of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Nathan Newman (Molly), Matthew Newman (Stephanie), Amanda Ries (Andy), Cassandra Newman-Delong (Taylor) and Gabriela Newman; her great grandchildren, Ruby, Henry, Cale, Sam, Will, Creed, Pearl, Ezra, Luke, Jacob, David, Amelia and Avery Ries; and her sisters, Joyce Swanson of Fairmont, MN and Diane Lentz (Tom) of Chanhassen, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
