He is survived by: his wife Linda Melkert; his daughters, Ashley Shannon (Richie) and Nicole Midboe (Troy); his grandchildren, Bryce and Olivia Shannon; and his siblings, Danny Melkert (Cheryl), Greg Melkert (DeAnn), Becky Baumgartner (Jim) and Brian Melkert (Annaliza). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
