He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thompson and Hazel Thompson (Williamson); his wife Marilyn Jane Anderson; and his siblings, Martha Hanson (Glenn), Robert Thompson and James "Pete" Thompson (Vi).
He is survived by: his children, Flint Thompson (Kelly) of Eau Claire, WI, Cheryl Stoll (Tim) of Dent, MN and Joy Eichhorn (Paul) of Breckenridge, MN; his grandchildren, Emily Neels (Michael), Erica Loher (Gerald), Ennon Kotschwar (Zane), Elliot Stoll (Marissa), Jordan Thompson, Jaclyn Kron (Eric), Evonne and Olivia Eichhorn; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Caleb, Caden, Eden, Easton, Elaina, Ensley and Elsie; his sister Irene Frost (Duane "Bud"); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Thompson.
Jack had a kind heart and enjoyed helping people and families in need by providing a Thanksgiving meal if needed or by making a monetary donation so a family could purchase Christmas presents.
