We bid farewell to Annabel Lee Petersen (Breckenridge, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Annabel Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Burhans and Edith Burhans (Sorgenfrey); her son James Petersen; her grandson Michael Cremers; her daughter-in-law Judy Petersen; and her siblings, Rodney, Kenneth, Orvis, Kirk, Fred Burhans, Myrtle Petersen, Jessie Klein, Alta Conrad, Maxine Berg, Marguerite Ross and Alice Warfield.
She is survived by: her husband Merwin Petersen of Breckenridge; and her daughters, Sharon Caspers (Brian) of Fargo, ND, Diane Fox (Tim) of West Fargo, ND and Patricia Harris (Gene) of Wahpeton, ND. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to United Methodist Church in Breckenridge and CHI Hospice.
