He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wolter and Valeria Wolter (Wessel); his wife Judy Wolter; and his brothers, Gerald and Jon Wolter.
He is survived by: his children, Jake Wolter, Gerald Wolter (Sheridy) of Mantador, ND, Mike Wolter and Melissa Wolter; his stepdaughters, Terri Lynn DuMarce (Bryan) of Sisseton, SD and Jacquelyn Crawford; and his siblings, Duane Wolter (Susie), Dale "Leftie" Wolter (Melani), Janice Hoffman Wahpeton (Dan) and Joyce Differding (Ben). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and family members.
Alfred was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Pheasants Forever Club, Wild Turkey Foundation, Elks and Deer Hunter Association, and the NRA.
