He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Klemenhagen and Neoma F. Klemenhagen (Minke); his brothers, Bob and David Klemenhagen; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Freeman.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Klemenhagen (Freeman) of Brandon, Minnesota; his children, Kris Klemenhagen of Alexandria, Minnesota and Katie Klemenhagen of Brandon, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kyla, Finley, Kaleiyah, KeMyia, Mykah Jo and Tommy; his sisters, Nancy Klemenhagen and Sue; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Catanzaro, Susan Klemenhagen, Donna Menken and Richard Freeman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Tom's family for a future planned memorial.
