He was predeceased by: his parents, Egner Zastrow and Phyllis Zastrow (Swenson); his wife Deborah Zastrow; his brother Kenneth Zastrow; his parents-in-law, Gordon and Betty Jacobs; his siblings-in-law, John Hennen, Gary Jacobs, Nancy Herrin and Beverly Jacobs; and his great-nephew Ryan Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Kymberly Beyer (Stacey) of Brandon, MN, David Zastrow of Brandon, Darin Zastrow of Brandon, Steven Zastrow of Alexandria and Richard Zastrow of Brandon; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Riley, Haddie, Brody, Bailey, Brock, Micheal, Mariah, Madison, Lillian and Tristan.
