She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bettin and Cecelia Bettin (Thomas); her husband Matthew Thoennes; her parents-in-law, Mathias and Mathilda Thoennes; her brothers, Ron Bettin (Marge) and Harry Bettin; and her siblings-in-law, Dolores Chermak (Henry), Bernice Kalina (Henry), Audrey Wilson (George), Mildred Bitzan (Don), Anita Bettin, Norman Thoennes (Ann), Lewis Thoennes (Cyrilla), Christopher Thoennes (Darlene) and George Courrier.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Grecula (Joe) of Millerville, Don Thoennes (Carol) of Brandon, Dave Thoennes (Elaine) of Alexandria, Patrick Thoennes (Gwen) of Millerville, Fran Thoennes (Diane) of Garfield, Marianne Burdick (Gene) of Fridley, Sharon Ditch (David) of Pelican Rapids, Fred Thoennes of Alexandria, Julie Ahlbrecht (Gavin) of Alexandria, Paul Thoennes (Carmen) of Millerville and Kristie Noyes (Glen) of Fergus Falls; her siblings, Erma Bettin of Alexandria, Lucille Courrier of St. Cloud, Florence Hvezda (Dave) of Alexandria, Kathy Thoennes (Gary) of Alexandria and Clarence Bettin of Millerville; her sisters-in-law, Naomi Rodgers of St. Cloud and Marlene Bettin of Alabama; and her grandsons, Adam Grecula, Josh Thoennes, Michael Larson, Daniel Ditch, Tom Noyes, Jordan Thoennes and Justin Thoennes. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church - Millerville (16921 County Rd 7 NW, Brandon, MN 56315). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery - Millerville (16921 County Rd 7 NW, Brandon, MN 56315).
