He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Fennema and Rosella Fennema (Brouillard); and his siblings, John, Mike, Louis, Donna and Pat.

He is survived by: his children, Samantha Schmidt (Timothy), Heather Gadwa (Robert) and Kenneth Fennema (Catherine); his grandchildren, Emmett, Anthony, Caitlin and Marcus; and his siblings, Helen Borst and Tony Fennema.
