It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ward of Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on March 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Nelson and Martha Nelson; her husband Lester Ward; her daughter Sue Evans; her siblings, Jetta Hopkins and Ronald Olson; and her grandson Wyatt Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Treat of Springdale, AR, Sandra Ward of Casper and Wendy Ward of Baxter, MN; her close friend David Liebeg; and her siblings, Joyce Palkovich, Lois Kinn, Einar Nelson, Richard Nelson and Marilyn Tranby. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
