Wangen of Brainerd, Minnesota, born in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Grace Alice Jeroue; and his children, Jim (Shelly), Doug (Jennifer), Ken (Sue) and Sherry.

Memorial donations may be made in Vernon's name to the Tunnels to Tower organization.
