It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Ann Carlson of Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Speed and Thelma Speed (Lockwood); and her nephew Troy Speed. She is survived by: her children, Dain Carlson (Jessica) and Vanessa Carr; and her siblings, Richard Speed (Bette), Connie Barnett (Roger), Patricia Lapka (Lloyd), David Speed (Linda), Gregory Speed (Laslie) and Jeff Speed. She is also survived by grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
