He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Velda Plante, John and Helen Holewa. He is survived by: his parents, Sam Plante and Bernice Plante of Fort Ripley; and his siblings, Donald Plante of Fort Ripley, Valerie Posterick (Darrell) of Little Falls, Mary Brechtel (Casey), Lisa Salzberg (Robert) of Sarasota Fl and Amy Sandy (Peter) of Long Prairie.
