She was predeceased by: her parents, William Braunschweig and Francis Braunschweig (Kappes); and her siblings, Dennis, Joan and Nancy.
She is survived by: her husband Michael "Buck" Gakin (Buck); her sons, Jason (Gina) and Jeremy (Amanda); her grandchildren, Neva, Maverick, Nolan, Tatum, Taylor, Hailey and Jonathan; and her siblings, Charles, Vern, Dean, Kevin, Fran, Pat, Sue, Char and Wanda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
