He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bowman and Blanche Bowman (Hardy); his brothers, Robin, Phil, Mike and Dennis Bowman; and his sister-in-law Kristi Ann Bowman (Oakley).
He is survived by: his daughter Sascha Hess (Ronn); his grandchildren, Josh, Zach VanLue and Kenadi Hess; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Oakley (Kathy), Jeff Oakley, Tim Oakley (Jenine) and Jerry Oakley (Janice). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
