Peggy Saatzer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Saatzer of Brainerd, Minnesota, born in Fairmont, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Huffman and Esther Huffman (Funderburk); her former husband John Silker (Jack); her brothers, Larry Huffman and Perry Huffman; her brothers-in-law, Duane Walser and Dick Lobb; and her stepgrandson Derrik Kuschel.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Saatzer; her children, Teresa Straton (Rick), Susie Smith (Jamie), Jeff Silker (Karen), Neil Silker (Sue), Kathy Strauser (Randy), Mike Silker and Chad Silker (Jamie); her siblings, Bonnie Walser, Nancy Lobb, Wendy Becker (Dallas) and Bryan Huffman; her siblings-in-law, Glen Silker (Sue) and Joyce Gilbertson; and her stepchildren, Todd Saatzer and Jodi Kuschel (Albie). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild, four step grandchildren, and 10 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Baptist Church in Baxter and the Martin County Humane Society in Fairmont, MN.
