He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dumbeck and Mary Dumbeck (Fleischhacker); his wife Ardy; and his siblings, Frank, Marie Tougas and Arline Jarnot.

He is survived by: his sons, Brad, Ron (Vicki) and Jamie (Jodi); his grandchildren, Kayla (Darrick), Brennan, Michael (Emily) and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Darrick, Jr., Abigail, Charlotte and Ivan; his sister Kathy Wetzel (Mike); and his close friends, Sue Hanson and Jerry Handerland.
