He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Matten and Marie Matten (DeVoes); his wife Josephine Bosch; his sister Clara Bulfer; and his son David.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Sullivan, Nancy Lodermeier and Lawrence Matten.
