We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2023, at the age of 75, Merlaine Wornson of Brainerd, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Kruse and Enger Kruse (Matson); her former husband Norm Kroening; her siblings, Don Kruse (Geneva) and Mavis Slate; her niece Shannon Rider; and her nephew Galen Badeaux.

She is survived by: her husband Paul; her sister Lois Badeaux; and her stepdaughters, Kristin and Wendy Wornson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
