Marlene Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Smith in Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Olson and Gertrude Euler Olson; her husband Roy Smith; her brother Robert Olson; her son Lance; her son-in-law Joel Kaffar; her granddaughter Alexa Peterschick; her great grandchild Caleb Dehn; and her son-in-law Kernan Peterschick.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Geyer of Norwalk Iowa; her sisters-in-law, Dixie Parsons of Milo, Janet Smith of Outing and Ruth Olson of Webster City; her children, Kirk (Dee) of Outing and Jan Peterschick; and her friend Brad Buchanan of Emily, Minnesota.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are requested to either Our Saviors or The Salvation Army of The Brainerd Lakes Area.
