Mark Reed Obituary

Mark G. Reed passed Saturday November 13, 2021, at St Joseph Hospital Brainerd, MN.

Mark was born September 2, 1956, in Rockford, IL to JoAnn (Wilson) and Darrell Reed. Mark was an intelligent man, and he enjoyed many hobbies, fishing, finding treasures at garage sales, gold panning, agate collecting, and just being outdoors with nature. He was kind, generous, and a loyal friend and brother, he loved to laugh and tell life stories to whoever would listen. Mark had a love of life and whatever it threw his way he handled with a fierceness that scared many.

Mark is survived by his sister Lisa Weise and her family in CA, his Minnesota Aunties, Diane, Paulette (Jeff), and Vickie. He also has his Aunt Marlene, and Uncle Neil of Illinois. Mark lived with his special friend Cheryl Hedy in Brainerd. Mark is blessed with cousins all over the US that he kept in touch with from time to time, and we will miss his stories and wisdom.
