He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Borden and Hazel Borden; his wife Laureen; his son Michael; and his siblings, Winston and Edna.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Wesley, Olivea, Audrey, Miranda and Elaina; his brother Tom; his friends, Jim Wentworth and Tiffany Wood; and his nephew Matt Borden. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home (202 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
