He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Ben" Nygaard and Evelyn Nygaard (Larson); his stepmother Joyce Woodhouse; and his stepsister Pam McAllister (Darrel). He is survived by: his stepsisters, Diane Storm (Lee), Cynthia Nelson (Joel) and Wendy Schaefer (George); and his cousins, Fred Nygaard (Karen), Madree Mutsch, David Nygaard, Chris Sohn, Carol Swift and Brenda Marohn (Chuck). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
