He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bement and Bertha "Mary" Bement (Olson); his daughter Connie; and his siblings, Marvin, Lila and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Arliss; his children, Mona Beach, Jeanne Armstrong (Shawn), Rhonda Bement, Sarah Lenzen (Terry), Robert Bement and Laura Bement; and his brother Laverne Bement (Helene). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (418 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN 56401).
