She is survived by: her husband Dr. Peter Schmitz; her children, Beth Schmitz, Amy (Mark Lelwica), Mark Schmitz (Jennifer), Michael Schmitz, Sarah (Tanner Lundy) and Matthew Schmitz; her grandchildren, Max, Heidi and Alex Lelwica; her children, Madison Zielanski (Brendan), Molly, Maryn, Samuel Schmitz, Sophia, Katherine, Clare, Lucy and James Lundy; her great grandchild Everleigh Zielanski; and her brother Tim Amundsen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
