He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Nelson and Averil Nelson. He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Dahl (Terry), Kathy Delaney, Heidi Stromback (Dale) and Becky Feldmeier (Chris); his grandchildren, Brian Dahl (Tressa), Craig Dahl (Bree), Luke Delaney (Sara), Hannah Delaney, Carlina Grindeland (Jeremy), Spencer Stromback (Ye) and Zachary Feldmeier; his great grandchildren, Ender, Everly, Brecken, Statler, Elijah, Lydia, Beau, Flora, Sylvie and George; and his sisters-in-law, Anita Nelson and Iris Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Adult & Teen Challenge, Interfaith Volunteers, or Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity.
