He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Carlson and Catherine Carlson (Costello); and his children, Nicholas and Emily. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his sons, Nathaniel Carlson (Erin), Dalton Schalz and Owen Carlson; his siblings, Kay Heittola, Sharon Carlson, Patricia Andrle, Kennard Carlson, Lennard Carlson, Craig Carlson, Sylvia Anderson (Mike), Dan Carlson and Debbie Kiemel (Karl); and his grandchildren, Natalie, Peyton, Kelsey and Kaitlin.
