She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hakes and Marie Hakes (Kisselburg); her husband Ron; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her brothers, Richard Hakes (Sonja) of Lombard, IL and Robert Hakes (Lucy) of Oak Park, IL; and her children, William (Kay), James (Jorie), Kim Lindner-Slagter (Robert), Dawn, Lisa Hoffs (Billy) and Daniel (Alissa). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center (512 S 8th St, Brainerd, MN 56401). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
