He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gerber and Helen Gerber; his former wife Kay Gerber; and his brother Dudley Gerber. He is survived by: his wife Katy Gerber of Brainerd; his son Scott D. Gerber (Karla) of Ham Lake; his granddaughter Meghan J. Gerber; and his great grandchild Sophie M. Siegfried. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
