He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ortega and Irene Ortega (Delgado); his son David Ortega, Jr.; and his siblings, Carmen Granado, Mary Lou Alexander and Angel Ortega.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Ortega and Lusiano Ortega; and his siblings, Hope Ortega, Rudy Ortega, Arthur Ortega, Eilida "Lydia" Koering and Linda Gloria. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
