He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Barbara Vandeputte and James Vandeputte; his sister Debra; his nieces and nephews, Coltan (Ashley), Ryan, Kyler, Brandon, Olivia and Kalina; his sister-in-law Wendy (Julie); his grandparents, Joe, Leona, Herb and Lila; and his brother Steve. He was also cherished by cousins, aunts, an uncle, and friends.

In lieu of planting trees, the family would love memorials/donations to go to the Brainerd Sports Boosters as Chris was passionate about supporting the Brainerd area youth athletics.
