He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stimac and Janet Stimac (Newstrom). He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Sierra Oustad of Brainerd and Kayla Moose of Brainerd; his brother B. James Stimac of Seattle, WA; and his half-siblings, Brett Stimac of Brainerd and Brandi Stimac of Deerwood. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
