She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brockman and Edna Brockman (Birkeland); her husband Charles Johnson; her brothers, Edward, James and Donald; her sisters-in-law, Kathleen, Phyllis, Marilyn Brockman and Shirlie Weagley (Johnson); her son-in-law David Norman; her nephews, Bill and Philip; and her niece Kathy.

She is survived by: her children, Richard "Jug" Johnson of Brainerd, Nikki Shoutz (Cary) of Backus, Tom Johnson (Jackie) of Brainerd, Betsy Norman of Pillager, Eddie Johnson of Fridley, Laurie Schellin (Jeff) and Baxter; and her grandchildren, Erin Christensen, Heather Baral, Brady Schellin, William Hollinbeck, Charles Hollinbeck, Marah Johnson, Amanda Hommes, Bryce Johnson and Emma McCulley.
