She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Johnson and Lorraine Johnson (Glenn Smith Jr.); her siblings, Kathy Bittman and Jim "Jimmy" Johnson; and her pet Peeko.

She is survived by: her children, Brandy Smith and Jesse Smith; her grandchildren, Brandon Eggen, Brooklyn Eggen, Leslie Duran, Olivia LeVoir, Jayla Schwarzkoph, Jace Schwarzkopf, Hazel and Holden Smith; her great grandchild Asher Svor; her nieces, Tina Bittman and Ashley Johnson; and her nephew Jeffrey Johnson.
