He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Anderson and Clara Anderson (Olson); his wife Violet; his parents-in-law, John and Pearl Doose; his brother Berdell Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Charles, John Jr. Doose, Merle Hahn, Don Priebe, Richard Shogren, Jean Anderson, Ruby Doose, Arlene Hahn, LaVonne Priebe and Shirley Shogren.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Sachariason (Ed) of Montevideo and Wayne Anderson (LaMom) of Boyd; his grandchildren, Jason Sachariason (Diane) of Montevideo, Scott Sachariason (Jodene) of Montevideo, Kristi Enevoldsen (Aaron) of Montevideo, Kelly Sachariason of Montevideo, Shawn Anderson (Molly) of Mankato and Sheila Anderson of Minneapolis; his great grandchildren, Austin of Grand Forks, Alli of Montevideo, Luke Sachariason of Montevideo, Reyna of Montevideo, Eva of Montevideo, Cannon Sachariason of Montevideo, Dalton of Montevideo, Oliver Enevoldsen of Montevideo, Scarlett Krogsrud of Montevideo, Jada and Hannah Anderson of Mankato; and his brother-in-law Gordon Doose (Cheryl) of Alexandria. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
