With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Sawatzke (Boyd, Minnesota), born in Sandstone, Minnesota, who passed away on November 10, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Sawatzke and Theresa Sawatzke (Klein); his son Todd Sawatzke; and his siblings, Harold Sawatzke, Florence Sawatzke and Evelyn Yocum.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Goodman (Dave) of Lone Tree, CO and Doug Sawatzke of Finlayson, MN; his stepdaughter Heidi LaPage (Jerrie) of Wisconsin; and his pet JoJo. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to the Hope Network of Lac qui Parle County in memory of Ronald.
