He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen May (Haaland) and Bruce James Leasman; his wife Deborah Kay Brehmer (Kostad); his children, Mike Brehmer (Jen), Laura Swedzinski (Glen VanHecke) and Lynnsey Standahl (Ben); his grandchildren, Nathan (Kelli), Matthew, Joseph Brehmer, Baily Kaas, Gus VanHecke, Clare, Cole Swedzinski, Shelby, Kylie and Torbjorn Standahl; his siblings, Alice Janiszeski (Roger), Lonnie Leasman (Lonnie) and Leslie Leasman; and his parents-in-law, Stanley and Leone Kostad. He was also cherished by cousins, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Boyd Fire Department, Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Avera Marshall Oncology, or Carris Health Rice Hospice.
