It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Larson (Boyd, Minnesota), born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edblad and Allison Edblad (Creasey); her husband Alan; her son-in-law Michael Clausen; her granddaughter Michelle DenHartigh; her great grandchild Lucas Clausen; and her siblings, Helen Holmquist and Ronald Edblad.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Gruwell (Brenda) of Dawson and Debra Clausen (Bob Moore) of Watson; her grandchildren, Matt Gruwell (Geri), Nick Gruwell (Kristi), Gerad Clausen (Jamie), Brandon Clausen (Steph) and Casey Clausen (Hillary); her sisters, Nancy Platzer and Beverly Walstrom; and her grandson-in-law Jonathon DenHartigh. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
