He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hutt and Bena Hutt (Mulder); his daughter Lynn Janel Hutt; his father-in-law Melvin Grinager (Petra); his brother Melvin Hutt (Esther); his brother-in-law Jerry Sylvis; and also, Helmer Grinager (Vivian), Benny Grinager (Leone), Millie Larson (Rueben), Palmer Grinager (Dona), Betty Hermanson Grinager, LuVerne Grinager (Joanne), John Beattie, Jerry Thaler, Don Ruether and Verlan Grinager.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sons, Douglas of Boyd and David Hutt (Mavis) of Boyd; his grandchildren, Joseph Hutt (Kirsten) of Boyd, Katie Boettger (Matthew) of Minneota and Mason; his great grandchild Cohett Hutt; his sister Marge Sylvis; and also, Alice Beattie, Jerry Grinager, Diane Ruether and Ruby Pacheco (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
