He was predeceased by: his father Vernel Hermanson; his father-in-law Donald Schmitz Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Mike and Donald Schmitz Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Janice Hermanson (Moen); his former wife Melissa Schmitz; his sons, Trevor (Erika) and Tyler (Abby); his wife Melissa "Missy" Hermanson; his grandchildren, Lincoln, Charlotte, Gracelyn and Kayden; his brothers, Mike and Dan Hermanson (Kristie); and his mother-in-law Susan Schmitz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
