He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Nelson and LaVerne Nelson (Lindsay); his brother Danny; his grandson Anthony "Tony" Nelson; his wife Sherry; his sons, Michael Nelson (Katie), Vince Nelson (Carrie) and Jacob Nelson (Cassie); his siblings, Dwight "Ike" Nelson (Sharon), Kathy Bryan (Bill), Diane Camilli (Joe), Richard "Reech" Nelson, Peggy Birch (Ted), Richard "Pipe" Holzemer, Pat York (Marvin) and Sandy Mattice; and his sister-in-law Maggie. He was also cherished by twenty grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
