He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Mackey and Mae Mackey (Ruska); his brother Jerald Mackey; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Stish and Sam Shevich.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Phillips (Quance) of Bovey; his children, Dennis Mackey (Stacy), Rhonda Johnson (Dana), Kelly Braford (Shawn), Charles Phillips III (Annie) and Karina McLellan (Rocky); his siblings, Jeanette Stish, Billy Mackey (Dalyce) and Wendy Shevich (Tom Anzelc); and his sister-in-law Rosalie Mackey. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren.
