He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gangl and Bernadine Gangl (Finken); his brothers, Paul Jr., James, Robert and Richard; and his grandson Jayden Gangl.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Ronda Patton (Ryan), Kimberly Moe (Mark), Tammy Godec, Ron Gangl Jr. and Rory Johnson; his grandchildren, Jake Patton (Bri), John Patton (Nicky), Sarah Nienhuis (John), Jacob Moe, Kayden Moe, Isaiah Moe, Nikolas Godec, Alyssa Johnson and Kylie Johnson (Snugglebug); his great grandchildren, Joanna Patton and Emily Nienhuis; his nieces, Crystal Purdie, Caci Richards and Callie Edminster; and his siblings, Ken (Judy), Dave (Kari), Arnold (Kathy), Gary Gangl (Barb) and Jane Orazem (Keith).
