He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vekich Sr. and Mary Vekich; and his siblings, Nick, Duke Marjanovich and Darlene Grooms (Tam).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Vekich (Koivisto); his sons, Jeff (Lisa), Derek (Angie) and Mike Vekich (Julie); his grandchildren, Maggie, Libby, Mitchell, Claire, Ellie, Thomas and Cecelia Vekich; and his sisters, Delores, Peluso, Honey Peluf (Mary) and Elaine Flatley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
