With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Salminen Sr. (Bovey, Minnesota), born in Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Salminen and Mayme Salminen (Collyard); his son Bruce Salminen; his siblings, Werner and Dorothy; his grandson Corey; and his great grandchild Trenton.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Jr. Salminen (Kathy) of Hibbing and David Salminen (Janice) of Scandia, MN; his grandchildren, Sy Salminen, Matthew Salminen, Terry Salminen and Shawn Salminen; and his great grandchildren, Corrissa, Alexis and Katie. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
