He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hill and Alice Hill (Svoboda); his son Howard Hill Jr.; and his siblings, Doris, Dorothy, Evelyn, Jim and Claire Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Mickey Hill (Denise) of Nashwauk, MN, Mark Hill (Renee), Joalyn Rookey (Rusty) and Jeremy Stockwell of Keewatin, MN; his sister Katherine "Kay" Hill-Steven of Kansas City, KS; his grandchildren, Kary, Cami, Chad, Tiffany, Mickey Jr., Damien, Jessie, Haley, Travis, Joshua, Jeremy Stockwell Jr., Rebecca Zaudtke (Triston), William Stockwell, Starr Stockwell and Leann Stockwell; and his great grandchildren, Solluxander and Ayra. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
