He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Hayes and Helen Hayes (Dahl) of Bovey, MN.; his sister Meredith; and his nephews, Barry Jakovich and Erik Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Wayne Hayes (Deborah) and Susan Jacobson (Doug); his grandchildren, Jahan (Katie), Camran Hayes (Desiree), Lia and Peter Jacobson (Kelsey); his brother Keith Hayes (Patricia); and his brother-in-law George Jakovich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota - Duluth (4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
