He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Murphy and Dorothy Murphy; and his wife Kathleen Scheper. He is survived by: his children, Kelly McCarroll (Jake) of Balsam, MN and Scott Murphy (Taryn) of Hudson, WI; his siblings, Phyllis Gentry, Kathleen Murphy, Thomas Murphy (Gladys) and Richard Murphy; his grandchildren, Connor McCarroll (Lauren), Colton McCarroll (Rachael), Emily Hoppe (Daniel), Andrew McCarroll, Gavin, Teagan, Brock and Griffin Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Lyla Kathleen and Marie Rose.
