He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Whitney and Nellie Whitney (Wallace); his wife Betty Abbas; and his son Terry Whitney. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Nickel (Don) of Kiester, Tracy Whitney (Kay) of Mapleton and Tom Whitney of Mesa, AZ; his brother Roger Whitney (Diane) of Winnebago; and his sister-in-law Caroline Whitney. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
