With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Salisbury of Blue Earth, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Salisbury and Marie Salisbury (Reinhart); his brothers, Curt, Mike and Timothy; his brothers-in-law, Ernie Chounanard and Carl Thedens; his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Ratigan; and his granddaughter Jackie Bergeron.
He is survived by: his former wife Wanda; his grandchild Dani; his wife Cherie of Blue Earth, MN; his children, Renaye Crawford (John Odell) of Kiester, MN, Rachel Schirmer of Owatonna, MN, Rebecca Tabor (Shawn Voeltz) of Lanesboro, MN, Collin Salisbury (Susan) of Blue Earth, MN and Dani Salisbury of Fairmont, MN; his grandchildren, Chantelle, Colby, Noriah, Vanessa (Adam), Nolynn, Alicia, Kiarah, Tessa, Jenna, Trever, Carson, Josh, Shailah, Jayden, Annika and Jasmine; his great grandchild Leon; his siblings, Karen Chounanard, Mary Ann Thedens, Keith and Lynn Salisbury (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Jackie, Cathy Salisbury, JoAnn Jackson (Ken), Mikette Caspers (Pat) and John Ratigan (Brenda); and his pets, Laika and Sophie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
